This tale owes it's reverse odyssey anti-hero to Kraukauer's Chris McCandles, a blue Chevy Blazer and two borrowed acoustic guitars. It's a story of thirst for the road, the music lying in its path, and the people who open their doors to strangers and entertain angels. Blending classic Twain humor with Kerouac sized open roads, our hero likens himself a phoenix rising from the north and setting in the south, discovering who he is and what he is meant to do in the process.
